Mind The Gap.

The day of our official CAPA Orientation! We took the tube and found the little building of our school, located on Cromwell Road. We received a packet with our class schedules and also a calendar of optional outings throughout our time here - including a trip to Stonehenge, a walking Harry Potter tour, a Beatles tour, and many more. I can't wait to plan out which ones I'm going to! After our orientation we attempted to walk around High Street Kensington but ended up going the opposite way and wandering around random streets of London! It was fun anyways. Here are some snapshots:

Our new friends...the one in black was in the Royal Wedding!
It was a very successful day! We had a lot of fun and did a lot of sightseeing on our own. I'm starting to get used to sharing a room with 3 girls and a flat with 6! Everything is so different here - the people, for the most part, are so friendly and polite, and I love the accents (duh). I'm getting used to some of the terms used - Que (waiting in line), Fag (Cigarette), Knickers (panties), Wanker (insult to boys), Playsuit (romper) hahaha and many others. I can't wait to learn so much more, start my classes and to see all of London!
