Today all of my roommates had orientation for their internships, so I slept in for a little until they got back (I’m not doing an internship – just taking two classes). We all just hung around all day and decided we would try a night out in London! We got all dressed up, ran to Tesco Express for beer, and took the tube to meet Jenna’s friend from home. We were all in our heels and walked for what seemed like an eternity to this guy’s friend’s dorm room. They were a few people gathered in their “common” room drinking freely – which we could NEVER do at Ole Miss! We had a few drinks and took the tube to “Sports Bar” in Trafalgar Square. There was literally NO ONE there (odd for a Friday night) but our group made some fun out of it. We danced and talked and it was a great time! The bartenders just laughed at us when we tried to pay for our coins (how are we supposed to know the difference between a 2 pound and a 1p coin?!)
