Today we took a field trip for our sociology class...I was really excited about it at first but became very unhappy when it became a torrential downpour! We had to run in and out of the coffee shop in front of the National Gallery when the rain would come and go. Our professor decided to keep walking us around even though the sky was black! We wandered down to Buckingham Palace and were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Queen leaving! Unfortunately at this time it was pouring down rain and I didn't want to risk ruining my camera to snap a picture of her! Finally, after standing in the cold rain for twenty minutes while our professor attempted to teach us information, he realized how miserable we were and told us where the nearest tube station was and we ran as fast as we could! The field trip would have been a lot better and more informing without the bad weather and I wish I could have taken more pictures but I'm hoping the next one will be a lot better!
