Clifton Gardens

Wednesday, May 18th - finally the day my true journey begins! I woke up at 8 am sharp with a pre-booked taxi waiting for me to take me on my hour-long cab ride to my residence! Thank goodness Oli helped me with this, it was only 24 "quid" but if it would have been a regular taxi it would have cost me a FORTUNE! I was the first to get to our flat and get checked in. I unpacked and took a few pics of the place:

It wasn't until around noon when some others arrived! Kiley and Caroline (from Ole Miss) busted into my room and woke me from my nap! I was so excited to finally see some familiar faces - we all couldn't believe we were in London together at last! They all unpacked and got settled, and then we went on a walking tour around our neighbourhood!

After a long day of walking and exploring...typical!

We then all agreed that we were hungry and walked up and down the streets looking for something decent to eat. We soon ended up in Indian village and quickly turned around and settled for a little close-by restaurant on the river.
