Today for my International Marketing class we went to the Museum of Brands. It is a tiny place located right near Portobello Market and Notting Hill. I walked through the Portobello Market on the way to the museum and I absolutely loved it! There were the cutest colorful houses and the shops in the market were all so unique. I didn't have much time to see the whole market but I got a good feel for it and really like the area. I also really enjoyed the Museum of Brands. It was almost like a little time tunnel, starting in the Victorian Era and leading up until today, showing how packaging and advertisements have changed throughout the years. We learned how changes in history affected how things were marketed to people. Unfortunately, we were unable to take pictures, but I saw a lot of cool stuff! Afterwards, we walked around the market a bit more and then I came home for a nice relaxing night.
Highlight of the day: Ryan sent me a package with Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids (can't find those in England!)
