Pommery

Yesterday we had our second field trip for my Sociology class to the Museum of London. It wasn't my favorite museum I've been to but it was alright. It showed how the city of London has changed over the years and had a few cool sections showing old artifacts from different time periods. After a while in the main section I snuck off to the "London Street Photography" exhibit and saw a lot of neat photos! We then got a little bored and Kiley and I decided to do a little exploring of our own besides museums. We walked over to St. Paul's Cathedral and wandered around the pretty greenery around the Church. We thought about going inside and walking up the 530 steps to the very top but decided to save that for another day. Kiley and I then walked and walked and walked (with no idea where we were going) making last-minute decisions on which streets to turn on until we finally found our way to the Blackfriars Bridge where we were able to see Parliament Big Ben and the London Eye to one side and The Gherkin (the pickle-like building) on the other side! We were quite happy that we knew where we were and walked across the bridge to the London Eye area. Both craving a drink, we walked over to a rooftop bar that Kiley remembered about in Trafalgar Square. We decided to reward ourselves for walking over 4 miles that day! The rooftop bar had an incredible view and tasty champagne. After staying there a while, we ventured back to good ole Clifton Gardens and went out to a pub called O'Neils which was a lot of fun!
